Brian Molko stated, while talking about the album: "We've made a record about choosing life, about choosing to live, about stepping out of the darkness and into the light. Hurricane Festival took place near Bremen, Germany. Moi, Vamparela, a secret Paranoise agent was there and has some foto material of the best gigs for you! Hurricane was one of the best festivals I have ever been to. I got the chance to see live some music legends and some new bands as well. The weather was not exactly ideal, rainy most of the time, but at least not too cold for german standards. The people at the festival covered all possible age groups. My favoritte concert of the festival was Faith No More, but I have to admit that most of the concerts were really good.

Some of my favorite concerts were:
The Kraftwerk Blood Red Shoes
Eagles of Death Metal
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
PixiesFaith no More
The Rakes
Fleet Foxes
Nine Inch Nails
